Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality

Adult Swim has dropped its first full trailer for Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality, amusingly on the day of release.

As the first glance of official gameplay besides screenshots and a brief look at a Plumbus last year, the latest trailer gives players a great look at the kind of activities, characters, and locations within Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality. From extraterrestrial worlds to space stations to Rick’s garage, players appear to be able to do a variety of tasks, including washing laundry, combing their hair, and shooting aliens all in glorious VR:

Initial reviews of the game have been positive, with Polygon calling it “the perfect vehicle for the delivery of Rick and Morty‘s absurd, puerile humor” and PC Gamer writing “clever puzzles and wacky sci-fi toys make for a vulgar, varied VR game, even if it’s short.”

As OnlySP has previously written, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-Ality is the fourth [Adult Swim] Games adaptation of animated series Rick and Morty. Owlchemy Labs, the developers behind games Job Simulator and Snuggle Truck, are working for the first time with [Adult Swim] Games for this project. The release of this game coincides with the release of the much awaited third series of Rick and Morty, and, upon consideration, 4/20.

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality costs $29.99, and can be bought for HTC Vive, Oculus, and Oculus Touch.
