Blizzard’s Diablo III is making its way onto the PS3 (and eventually the PS4) this fall, although up until now, we hadn’t see any actual gameplay of the console version. Lo and behold, such footage has arrived in the wake of the title’s appearance at PAX.

Titled the “Sizzle Reel,” a good minute and a half of gameplay segments from the PS3 version are showcased in a montage. Let us know if you think the visuals and animations hold up compared to the PC version!

That’s not all, though. A video entitled “The Story So Far” has been released, affording newcomers the chance to catch up on the rather complex lore behind the Diablo universe. Cinematics from the first two games are spliced alongside narration and images to form a cohesive retelling of the saga. You can catch it under the sizzle reel below.

Stay tuned for more news on this iteration of Diablo III, and be sure to dungeon-crawl your way over to our new forums.
