During the Thailand Comiccon event, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts‘ series producer, Shinji Hashimoto, ran a panel and teased Square Enix fans that “[he’s] pretty sure you will be surprised” when E3 comes around.

Hashimoto answered a question put forth by BoN, who asked if we were going to get more information on Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III at this year’s E3. In response, he stated that “[they] would like to keep it secret [and] it[‘s] just only a few months from now [but] I’m pretty sure you will be surprised.”  He also added that announcements are “not only in June [and] there will be many events from now on such as San Diego Comicon, Tokyo Game Show, and others.” Hashimoto strongly hinted we would be getting details on their “plans” at the Tokyo Game Show as he stated with laughter, “it would be better you see yourself at Tokyo.”

Could Square Enix surprise us with an announcement of these two games coming out earlier than we anticipate and do these “plans” hint towards a potential set of announcements at E3 and TGS for Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III? Stay tuned for more information in these coming months.
