Squall from Final Fantasy VII Remastered

Square Enix has announced the official release date for Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, and it is much sooner than many might have expected.

On September 3, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will launch for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is currently available for preorder on the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, and Square Enix Store for USD$19.99.

Square Enix has also released a new trailer for the remaster, which highlights some of the graphical enhancements that eager have been waiting for.

Along with improved visuals, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is set to feature music from the original PlayStation release, new progression options (battle enhancements, triple speed, etc.), voiceovers in English and Japanese, and other improvements.
