Square Enix has treated fans to a new Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer on the 23rd anniversary of the original title’s release.
The trailer features an all-new track by Nobuo Uematsu, titled ‘Hollow’. In a recent post to the Square Enix blog, it is revealed that three beloved Final Fantasy composers will collaborate on Final Fantasy VII Remake‘s soundtrack: Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu and Mitsuto Suzuki.
In nearly four minutes of cinematics and gameplay, the Final Fantasy VII Remake Theme Song Trailer shows a wealth of characters we have yet to see or have seen very little of, including many of their English voices: Don Corneo, Heidegger, Hojo, Mukki, Palmer, Red XIII, Reeve, Rufus, Scarlet, and more.
A lengthy portion of the trailer is dedicated to Cloud’s escapade into the Honey Bee Inn. The Honey Bee Inn is one of the more controversial and memorable segments of the original title, featuring a cross-dressing Cloud venturing into a brothel with Aeris and Tifa.
Final Fantasy VII Remake‘s release date was recently delayed to April 10, 2020. On release, it will be available for PlayStation 4.
