The upcoming detective RPG Blacksad: Under the Skin was prematurely uploaded to PlayStation Network in Europe.

Unfortunately, the game is missing an essential day one update planned by the developer. The current state of the game is virtually unplayable, with reports of audio and lighting issues leaving a sour taste for early impressions.

The title’s publisher, Microids, released an official statement regarding the issue, strongly advising anyone currently with the game to wait. The update details some of the changes within the day one patch including major bug fixes and frame rate issues.

Blacksad: Under the Skin and the patch officially release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One November 14, 2019. A Nintendo Switch version of the game will be available later on November 28, 2019.
