UPDATE: Not one, but two Far Cry bundles have been revealed by Ubisoft. One is called Far Cry Compilation, and the other is called Far Cry Classic.

Far Cry Compilation is for North America, and contains Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and 3’s spin-off DLC Blood Dragon. It will be released on February 11th at $39.99 for PS3 only.

Far Cry: The Wild Expedition is for Europe and will include the same games as Compilation, with the bonus of Far Cry Classic. It releases on February 14th on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC for £29.99.

Furthermore, Far Cry Classic will be available on its own for Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network on February 12th, for £7.99.

In a release schedule sent to the media today, a new Far Cry title was listed called, Far Cry: The Wild Expedition.

The title is supposedly going to cost around $30, meaning it’s a budget title, but other than that, no other details were listed. The press release also stated the game would be arriving on February 14th. We’ll have to wait and see what it actually is in the coming days. Some suggest that it will be a re-release of the original Far Cry game, although, I find it a bit hard to believe they would charge $30 for it. On the other hand, Halo: Anniversary was a re-release and cost $30, so maybe it’s not so far fetched.

Judging from the title of the game, I think it might have something to do with some sort of hunting adventure, but that’s just me. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
