If you’ve been jonesing for another tropical island vacation courtesy of Ubisoft, it looks like you’ll have to wait a few more months to do so. In fact, despite the game’s tropical setting, you’ll most likely be playing Far Cry 3 during the winter.

The game has just been pushed from its original September release date to November 29th for EMEA and December 4th for North America. Producer Dan Hay says that the reason for the delay is to further polish the game.

“We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience. Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”

While this isn’t a far cry (haha) from its original release date, it means the game will now be walking through the aftermath of Halo 4 and Black Ops 2. Let’s see who will emerge from the pileup.

Make sure to follow OnlySP for even more delayed news. I mean, news about delays.
