Here at OnlySP we never really had too much interest in Star Wars: Battlefront with it being multiplayer-only. Sure, Star Wars is pretty cool and every man and his dog has seen The Force Awakens by now, but the game never appealed to us unfortunately. Andrea even wrote a lovely piece about the disappointment of it all here. It seems though we weren’t the only ones pining for a single player campaign.
John Boyega, who shot to fame in 2015 for playing rogue Stormtrooper Finn in Star Wars Episode VII has a similar opinion. Sure he enjoyed the game as it was, but the London-born actor is hopeful of some single player action in Star Wars: Battlefront as well. He took to Twitter to ask EA themselves about a potential campaign:
@EAStarWars Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It’s more of an enjoyable way to learn controls.

If anyone can convince the heads at EA to change their minds, either for this title or any future installments, then one of the leading breakout stars of the film is certainly one of them. Especially if he shows up in person to dazzle all the employees:
@EAStarWars yeah thought it was great! But definitely leaves you wanting to engage within a narrative. Can I visit your base in the uk?

Boyega is certainly a likeable guy in the movie, let’s hope he can use that charm to sway the developers to produce a game we can all enjoy.
