Veterans of the Elder Scrolls series have formed a new studio and teased that its first game will be an open-world RPG.
OnceLost Games was founded by three original designers and a producer of The Elder Scrolls: Arena, as well as Julian LeFay. The group’s portfolio also includes other RPGs including The Elder Scrolls, Lord of the Rings: Online, and Spyro the Dragon.
According to OnceLost, the new game will be a “massive open-world fantasy adventure, and will boast revolutionary technology and game design.” Additionally, the title will take aspects from ’90s game design, but with updated technology and production:
“We aim to meet the gap between the deep, complex design pillars of games from the 1990s, with the production values, improved controls and quality-of-life features in games today.”
