After being introduced three years ago at E3 2009, Rockstar Games’ PS3-exclusive title, Agent, has gone into hiding.  Rumors circulated that the project may have been cancelled or that there were issues surrounding the platform exclusivity.

It looks like those rumors can be put to rest, as a posting by seems to not only confirm the game is still alive, but also that it may be revealed tonight during Sony’s press conference.  The popular UK retailer listed Agent as a PS3 release in the E3 section of their website (below).  After a long wait, it looks like Agent will finally get a proper unveiling.

Check out the Sony Press Conference, starting at 5;30 PM (PT) to see if these new rumors turn out to be true.  Make sure to stay tuned to OnlySP as we continue to update all the news from E3 throughout the day.  Also, follow OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for up to the minute news.

I'm a new dad, gaming machine, and beard aficionado. With a little one in the house, I've come to embrace the single-player experience, as it is much less likely to send me into a profanity-laced, controller-throwing tantrum. Writing and video games are two of my greatest passions, so this is a natural fit for me. As long as it doesn't require me to perform coordinated dance moves in front of my Kinect, i'm willing to pen my thoughts on it. Aside from gaming, I love music (Smashing Pumpkins), coffee (Red-Eye), and sushi (Yellowtail). All offerings of my aforementioned favorites will be accepted with open arms and, if you're lucky, i'll let you touch my beard. Just don't pull on it. That hurts.
