Dying Light

Dying Light fans may have a Switch-related surprise to look forward to in the near future.

Thanks to an interview with Wccftech, Chief Technical Officer at Techland Pawel Rohleder teased some news for the portable console in the near future.

When asked about the potential for Dying Light 2 on Switch, Rohleder explained what the future holds.

“The engine does not support Nintendo Switch. We are focusing on AAA content. But I can tell you that we might have a surprise for the Nintendo Switch later this year. I can’t tell you more.”

Predictably, the zombie sequel is not coming to Switch, but the original Dying Light could certainly come to Switch.

Though porting the game could be quite the task, titles like DOOM, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Mortal Kombat 11, and many more technically demanding titles all managed to find their way to the console at some point.
