Destructoid recently got the chance to sit down with Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the producer of Capcom’s upcoming RPG Dragon’s Dogma. From the looks of it, the game seems to be combining the gameplay of Capcom’s own Monster Hunter and placing it in a dragon-filled medieval setting not unlike Skyrim and Dark Souls. A co-op team focus was mentioned, with AI partners available in single-player. The game will also have a unique grab system to add depth to combat and will include your typical sprawling world and class-based RPG features. Check out the interview below. This could be a surprise hit. Dragon’s Dogma hits stores on May 22 in North America and on the 24th and 25th for Japan and Europe, respectively.
