Atlus USA has revealed that players will have the option to customize their characters in a few different ways in the upcoming 2D action/RPG Dragon’s Crown. The player will have the chance to change their Name, Outfit, Voice, and Analog controls.
- Name: Character names are selected randomly initially, but are fully editable (within good taste)
- Outfit: Each class comes with five different color palette options for their outfits, ranging from “True Steel” to “Deep Crow.”
- Voice: Not only will each class have any English voice, but the Japanese combat voices have also been left in the game. The decision is a per-character option.
- Analog: For old-school fans, Dragon’s Crown includes an option to switch movement controls from the analog stick to the D-Pad.
It looks as if the player will have a couple of choices to personalize their own RPG character. Not as in-depth as some would surely like, but is it really needed for a 2D action/RPG?
Dragon’s Crown will be released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
