Bandai Namco introduced the Soul Emblem and Community Board systems in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot last week, and now the EU branch has provided more details.
According to Bandai Namco EU, the Community Board will power up characters when Soul Emblems are placed on it. Different Soul Emblems represent various characters in the Dragon Ball universe, and these are earned by completing quests or parts of the storyline.
Placing Soul Emblems will provide numerous power-ups and special bonuses. Additionally, placing specific Soul Emblems with each other can unlock secret dialogue between the characters.
The game will also feature Training Grounds, which allow players to face off against other characters, such as allies, other enemies they have fought before, or themselves. Clearing training will also unlock new Super Attacks or power up existing ones.
OnlySP’s Dimitric Edwards played the game at E3 2019 and says that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is sure to be a game for newcomers and lifelong fans of the franchise to enjoy. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases in early 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
