Life is Strange and Vampyr developer DONTNOD Entertainment has renewed its partnership with Focus Home Interactive, promising an ambitious new project is in the works.

While no real details of that project are yet available, Focus Home COO John Bert teased that the game “is intended to be among the most ambitious in the history of Focus and DONTNOD.”

However, Bert does provide a hint that the upcoming title will play to the established strengths of DONTNOD, saying that the team “already amply demonstrated their talents to create rich universes, enhanced by a masterful narrative and unique artistic direction,” and that Focus Home is “proud to […]allow the talent of the studio to express itself.”

Last year, the same developer-publisher duo released Vampyr, which has officially crossed the one million sales mark. OnlySP’s review scored Vampyr as a Credit, concluding that, while enjoyable and engaging, the game could have gone further in developing its most unique aspects.

Aside from this new project, DONTNOD is currently releasing Life is Strange 2 with Square-Enix and developing the episodic thriller Twin Mirror with Namco Bandai.
