Following the failure of its Kickstarter campaign earlier this month, DOLMEN has resumed its crowdfunding efforts, this time via Crytivo.

The new platform provides three tiers of funding, ranging from USD$24.99—which provides alpha access and a digital wallpaper pack as its main perks—to $69.99, which provides access to a digital soundtrack, comic book, and artbook. The developers at Massive Work Studio previously sought $90,000 and came within $4,000 of that goal before the Kickstarter’s failure.

Following the shortfall of that earlier effort, the team announced that it is looking into alternative release options, including partnering with a publisher or attempting a second Kickstarter campaign.

For those unfamiliar with DOLMEN, the game is an action RPG blending sci-fi elements with cosmic horror. Players take the role of an astronaut abandoned on the hostile planet of Revion Prime in an adventure drawing influence from the Soulsborne saga while simultaneously implementing survival mechanics. More details on the project are available on its Crytivo page, where interested gamers can also pledge their financial support.

Notably, the Crytivo platform does not support projects that employ “exploitative microtransactions, loot boxes, and day-one DLC.”
