Wolfeye Studios co-founders Julien Roby and Raphaël Colantonio took to the stage during The Game Awards 2019 to show off their new game, Weird West.
Fittingly, the game is set in a mythical version of America’s wild west, which is populated by ancient, fantastic entities.
The game will follow in the footsteps of its creators’ previous efforts, Dishonored and Prey, in that it is described as an immersive sim, though the gameplay seems to take place from an isometric perspective. Players will be able to explore the setting either as a single character or as a posse.
Weird West is being published by Devolver Digital. The game is already live on Steam, though neither a release window nor target platforms have been announced.
