The reveal of Microsoft’s new console, Xbox One, has left many gamers cold; between the focus on sports/TV/sports on TV/not games and a lack of answers to the important used game question. If you missed the conference, let this cheeky video explain why the reception was lukewarm at best.
Yes, it’s reductive. But it’s also not inaccurate. This conference was aimed at the casual market first and foremost. Of course gamers were going to feel left out. We’ll have to wait for E3 to see if Microsoft can make a case for the Xbox One as a gaming machine, but for now, I’m not very excited. I’ve got an Apple TV, will probably buy a PS4, and don’t care about sports or modern TV.
There’s nothing to entice me and my kind.
LOL
As someone stated:
Xbox – 1
Playstation – 4
