It’s not even close to Halloween, but if you’re itching to be ghost, not all hope is lost. With a little luck, a sequel to the 2005 Gamecube exclusive Geist might be on its way.

N-Space’s Tim Schwalk, the producer of Geist, said in an interview with CVG that “I would love to work on another Geist game. We left so many ideas on the cutting-room floor that it’s a dream of mine to revisit the franchise.”

The original game had you control a ghost that had the ability to possess various objects. You were inside a military facility and had to get to the bottom of the paranormal experiments going down there. It was well received and became something of a cult hit. I just realized I have a copy floating around in my closet that I bought a while back for 99 cents. Might be high time to get ghastly soon.
