It was rumored that a new installment for the Deus Ex franchise was due but I think everyone was expecting it to be a full-fledged console/PC release. Now we find out that Eidos Montreal is indeed making another Deus Ex game but… surprise, it’s actually for mobile devices.

The game will be coming to tablets and other mobile devices soon and will take on a different story in the Deus Ex universe. The story will be based on events taking place after the Deus Ex: The Icaurus Effect novel.

When I played Deus Ex: Human Revolution on the console, I really enjoyed it but the controls didn’t feel quite right. I don’t know if that’s because it was fluid or if it was the controller but I think a mobile version of this series would fit in great. We will find out in the coming months!
