dead cells

Dead Cells players are getting a massive DLC drop this spring, and everything included will be totally free.

During a ‘the story behind’ segment on the Red Bull Gaming YouTube channel, developer Motion Twin shed light on the upcoming release. Skip to 8:50 in the video below for the comments made by the game’s artist, Noémie Szmrzsik-Cohard.

“We’re going to release a huge DLC we’ve been working on for nine months. It’s going to be free, and the players are going to freak out.”

What exactly the DLC will add to Dead Cells has yet to be seen, though the content will be playable at PAX East at the end of next month.

The game released last year after leaving Early Access. Players can find Dead Cells on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.

Michael fell into the OnlySP team toward the end of 2017. You’ll mostly catch his work over in the news area, but that doesn’t mean he won’t dip into the features section every now and then. For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
