A new video featuring Days Gone gameplay showcases some of the dynamic weather effects players will enjoy this week.

YouTube user Life28SK posted the clip today not only to show of the game’s snow effects, but how the snow interacts with the world and player. Check out the footage down below.

Using some impressive tech, snowfall in Days Gone will eventually blanket the game world in real time. The realistic look to the end result is stunning, especially considering players can leave footprints in the snow after enough has gathered.

Just a few days ago, Days Gone’s creative director offered some insight behind the meaning behind the game’s title.

This most recent PlayStation first party title launches this Friday exclusively for PlayStation 4.
