Announced for the PS Move at Germany’s Gamescon back in 2012, Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn instantly came into the spotlight of the video game horror community, and fans have eagerly been awaiting any news of the title ever since.  Well, it appears that fans might have gotten what they’ve been waiting for.

On July 2nd, Sony filed a new trademark for the title, forgoing the previous one entirely.  Published by the US Patent and Trademark Office today, the trademark contains some very interesting changes, including this line under the Goods and Services section:

Downloadable computer graphics; Downloadable images in the field of adventure and horror entertainment

Could Until Dawn be heading for Sony’s upcoming VR headset, Project Morpheus?  The timing would be perfect to announce it, as Gamescon is only a few weeks away.  In fact, Sony’s own Shuhei Yoshida revealed in an interview with Polygon that he thought the title would be “a really good fit” for Morpheus.

We’ll have to wait and see what Sony plans to do with Until Dawn when Gamescon starts in August.  Be sure to follow OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for updates about this story.
