At Tokyo Game Show this week, Namco-Bandai announced Dark Souls 2’s release date along with a slew of other news about their upcoming game. The game will arrive on March 11, 2014 in North America, and on March 14, 2014 in Europe. These dates are for consoles only, with the PC release to come “shortly after the console versions.”
Also announced at TGS was the Collector’s Edition, coming packed with a 12-inch tall Warrior Knight statue, a hardbound art-book, a map of the world, and the game’s soundtrack.
Finally, a new trailer was released for the game at TGS, featuring the new slogan “Go Beyond Death.”
The game will also have a public beta starting in October.
