Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 will feature both big and small corporations in its world.

In an interview with Wccftech, CD Projekt Red UI director Alvin Liu went into more details about the different types of corporations present. He explained that Militech is an American military corporation that replaces the government military that is not present anymore. Liu also mentioned a Japanese company that is very secretive, named Arasaka. In the world of Cyberpunk 2077, Arasaka Militech and Arasaka had a big fight that ended up with someone setting up a nuclear bomb in the city. Lastly, Liu described Orbital Air, a corporation that handles space and airplanes.

In addition to the corporations, Cyberpunk 2077 will feature gangs as well as a group called Nomads. Liu further elaborated on this group, stating that “Outside the city, we have people who just don’t want to live in the city for whatever reason. Maybe they have some very strong family ties in their community, or maybe they hate the idea of, you know, being a corporate slave, working for gangs, and they want to be strong and independent instead.”

While Cyberpunk 2077 was not playable at E3 2019, OnlySP’s Dimitric Edwards was able to see a 30 minute demo of the game and wrote his thoughts on what he saw.
