Sons of the Forest

A follow-up to the cult hit survival adventure The Forest was announced during The Game Awards 2019.

Few concrete details of this new title, Sons of the Forest, were revealed during the event, but the debut trailer seems to indicate a similar premise to the original, but with a military aircraft being brought down rather than a civilian plane.

The trailer also shows off some creepy humanoids and a brief glimpse of gameplay, which shows a pair of soldiers creeping through the wilderness.

Aside from the title, no ties to the previous game have yet been detailed.

No release window or platforms for Sons of the Forest have been confirmed.
