According to an anonymous tipster at DSOGaming, Crytek is prepping to announce two new games at E3 2014, but we only care about the title that isn’t a free to play multiplaer title.

According to the tipster, Crytek will reveal something called Project Grave, obviously that title is just a placeholder so the real name isn’t leaked to the public. DSOGaming didn’t get a whole lot of information on the subject past the project names, but putting the details together makes me think Project Grave is the codename for Homefront 2.

“Grave” does sound like it would be something for a horror title, but you never know. Grave could relate to any action game as well considering you’re putting a lot of enemies into body bags. Either way, Crytek has been working on Homefront 2 for quite a while now, so it would make sense for an E3 reveal to happen. Pre-Alpha footage of the game leaked last year, and I recently asked Crytek if Homefront 2 made the jump to next-gen, which a representative told me that they haven’t confirmed anything, but that’s probably a safe bet.

We’ll just have to wait and see what exactly Project Grave is, so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to get all the details when they arrive.

  1. I sure as hell hope it’s Homefront 2!

    1. I put mass graves from Homefront and Project Grave together to come up with that speculation haha. I think it works and I’ll slap my knee if I was right.

  2. Homefront was so fun, but there are rumors of Homefront 2 taking place in Asia, I hope that doesn’t happen. With BF4 being in Asia I’m burned out on the area, they better keep this in the USA because it offers variety like no other region.

  3. Crytek better stop teasing and start putting up!
