The developers of Crysis, the upcoming Homefront 2 and Ryse (Kinect game), has another AAA project in the works and one can only assume it’s Crysis 3. Others of course have high hopes for Timesplitters 4. Nick Button-Brown told CVG today that the studio is ready to unveil a “spectacular” new game next month.

“A big part of our business is big budget console and PC games. We are doing all these other things, but they’re on top of that and we’re doing them because they’re interesting.

“We still want to deliver the highest quality that we can, wherever we go,” he added. “You know about Homefront, you know about Ryse. We are working on another project… [laughs] all three of which are looking really good.”

Crysis 2 was easily one of the best first person shooters of 2011 with a strong story and as well all have seen, beautiful graphics. I certainly hope we see another iteration in the series soon. What do you think? Crysis 3 or maybe even a new IP? Sound of in the comments below.

  1. oh god, i hope they stick to PC platform only this time. I never bought the "console development never compromised the quality of our product"…Although I know the chances are slim :(

  2. I dunno, I mean I thought Crysis 2 was a visual masterpiece…though I still need to beat it lol
