Days Gone

In a recent Twitter video posted by PlayStation, Creative Director John Garvin explained the meaning behind the title Days Gone.

Garvin explains in the video that the title may not have a direct connection to the story, as the significance behind the game’s name was intended to be subjective.

The game features a day-night cycle where the night becomes more dangerous when the zombie-type enemies, called Freakers, become a larger threat. On the other hand, the day portions of Days Gone focus more on the human combatants. Garvin explained that the name could refer to the days of normal life being gone or the change that occurs throughout a day.

More details on the game’s gameplay can be found in OnlySP’s story here.
