Crash Bandicoot

In its recent fourth quarter and 2018 financial results report, Activision announced that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy shipped “over 10 million units since its 2017 release”.

The publisher also noted the “successful launch of Spyro Reignited Trilogy” as a further sign of “the enduring nature of Activision’s classic franchises,” indicating Activision’s continued support for similar remakes.

This is good news for fans of classic series like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, as further remakes seem inevitable given their evident success. During the 2018 Game Awards, Activision revealed Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a similar remaster of the classic PlayStation 1 racing game. Judging by the attitude shown over just the past two years, many more remasters are sure to come.
