Crackdown 3‘s protracted release schedule has had another twist, with the game’s store page implying the project will be split between single-player and multiplayer.
The Store Page, which lists a title called Crackdown 3: Campaign, comes with no additional information, other than the usual Crackdown 3 blurb:
“Time to step up your boom to stop crime as a super-powered Agent in Crackdown 3’s sandbox of mayhem and destruction.”
The addition of “campaign” in the subtitle strongly suggests that the game will be segregated into two parts. Whether this will have any impact on the game’s pricing structure or release schedule remains to be seen.
Rumours circulated this week that the game would have a new title – Crackdown 3: New Providence – following a leak that OnlySP verified on the Italian Xbox Store.
UPDATE: Following the above news, a third release was spotted on the Xbox store, entitle Crackdown 3: Wrecking Zone. See both pages embedded below:
