Remedy Entertainment’s Control is now out, and the development team is beginning to look forward to post-launch support.

In the most recent community update, Remedy’s Vida Starčević and publisher 505 Games’s Antonela Pounder have provided a brief outline of some planned content.

One of the biggest additions will almost certainly be a Photo Mode, which was originally confirmed earlier this month. While no time frame is yet available for that update, one of the first features set to be added to Control is a motion blur and film grain toggle. That is expected to be available in the second half of September.

The blog also mentions other free content, but does not go into detail about the form that will take; that information may come in the next blog, which the writers “hope to provide” next week.

However, Starčević and Pounder mention that the team has no plans to include HDR functionality.

Right now, Remedy is focused on bugfixes, including ensuring that the in-game map shows all relevant information and working on console optimisation, which has attracted criticism.
