Interdimensional Games “refuses to compromise” in their vision for their next project in the hopeful Consortium trilogy, so they’re looking to the generosity of gamers through Kickstarter to help them realize, Consortium: The Tower.

The upcoming title is set exclusively within a single tower in London’s near future amid a strange hostage situation. The single player game promises to deliver interactive storytelling in non-linear form. This means that you could play the entire campaign without firing a single bullet—if you’re feeling compassionate, of course—or you could play the wildcard and go in guns blazing.

The developers affectionately call the upcoming project a combination of the original Deus Ex and Die Hard. There are no wrong choices and a myriad of ways to finish the crusade.

Backers of the title will have access to daily development updates and, depending on contribution levels, semi-regular video Q&A sessions. Almost 800 supporters have already raised nearly $20,000 before the closing of the first day of its campaign. They hope to meet their goal of $450,000 CAD by February 19th.

Interdimensional Games has detailed updates scheduled over the next few weeks, so keep an eye on their Kickstarter page for more information. Be sure to follow OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for more updates.
