Colorfiction, the developer of dreamy walking simulator 0°N 0°W, has released a new game entitled Nightline, which serves as a kind of companion piece to  0°N 0°W. 

The project was dreamed up and produced during PROCJAM 2018, a game jam focused on procedural-generation. The title serves as a meditation on travel, as players ride a nighttime train through a seemingly unending metropolis.

The architecture and infinite-design of Nightline hearkens back to the artistic sensibilities of 0°N 0°W, with the ambient noise being sourced directly from NYC’s MTA transit system. Much of the game’s graffiti, too, is directly drawn from photographic material of the subway.

The incorporation of real-life material into Nightline‘s trippy dreamscape implies that Colorfiction may not be done building on its previous project. The game is available for free directly on the, with the trailer embedded below:
