Ionlands has debuted a new trailer for the cyberpunk adventure Cloudpunk ahead of its first public demo at the Tokyo Game Show later this month.

The footage introduces some of the lead characters of the game, namely Rania (who seems to be the protagonist) and Control. The dialogue between the two picks up with Rania’s first contact and talks about the difficulties of making it in the futuristic city of Nivalis.

Besides the driving, the trailer shows off some on-foot action, which includes exploration, shopping, and high-tech lock picking.

The narration and music are particularly evocative and, if reminiscent of what will be in the final game, ensures that players have a wonderful soundscape to support their semi-legal activities.

More details about Cloudpunk are available here or on the game’s official Steam page.

The game is currently targeting a 2019 release on PC, though no more specific date or other consoles have yet been announced.
