Developer Ion Lands has revealed its new cyberpunk adventure game, Cloudpunk, with a trailer.

In Cloudpunk, players control Rania as they travel around the sprawling city of Nivalis. Rania works for Cloudpunk, a “semi-legal” delivery company.

According to the game’s Steam description, “In this story-based cyberpunk game, you will meet a diverse range of characters including androids, AI and unscrupulous humans at every level of society. Everyone has a story, and in the course of one night in Nivalis, everything will change.”

Cloudpunk‘s development is being led by Ion Lands studio head Marko Dieckmann, with contributions by writer Thomas Welsh, artists Eloise Tricoli and Billy Sweetman, and composer Harry Critchley, among others. The game will use the Unity engine.

The game will launch for PC in 2019, with potential console versions at a later date.

Rhain Radford-Burns
Rhain discovered a long time ago that mixing one of his passions (video games) with the other (writing) might be a good idea, and now he’s been stuck in the industry for over six years with no means of escaping. His favourite games are those with deep and captivating narratives: while it would take far too long to list them all, some include L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption (and its sequel), Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Last of Us, and the Uncharted series.
