close to the sun

Close to the Sun offered a peek into an alternate history where Nikola Tesla was an even more inspired figure than real life, and the game’s developers hope to pull back that curtain again in the future.

During an exclusive interview with OnlySP, Storm in a Teacup CEO and creative director Carlo Ivo Alimo Bianchi commented on the game’s development and much more.

When asked about what the team has planned for the future, Bianchi gave fans who want to return to Close to the Sun’s world a bit of hope.

“We have some ideas; we’d love to go on to create another game in this same universe but for now our focus is on the console versions of the game that will launch later in 2019.”

Considering Close to the Sun launched only a month ago, surely ideas for a potential sequel are in their early stages.

OnlySP’s review for the title was glowing, so be sure to read up on why we think so highly of the game here.

Michael fell into the OnlySP team toward the end of 2017. You’ll mostly catch his work over in the news area, but that doesn’t mean he won’t dip into the features section every now and then. For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
