The newest unedited gameplay footage for Chernobylite delves further into the nuclear adventure.

After the developer, The Farm 51 achieved immense success with a Kickstarter campaign earlier this year, the studio has showcased new gameplay footage to celebrate Gamescom.

The new gameplay trailer shows 17 minutes of first-person gameplay with gloomy nuclear landscapes, an eerie nuclear power plant, and Geiger counters.

Chernobylite is a science-fiction survival horror experience based on the real-world locations of Chernobyl and Pripyat. The footage also reveals the protagonist exploring forests and sneaking past armed guards in a nuclear plant.

The game promises to be a dark and ominous experience, as players wander around the contaminated Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. In addition, the realism will be enriched by audio recorded in the locations where the game is set, leading to a stunning recreation of the Chernobyl area. Gameplay will also be enhanced with the addition of a weapons crafting system.
