The console versions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be able to use mouse and keyboard.

In an exclusive interview with OnlySP, Beenox game director Marc-Alexander Millot revealed that a mouse and keyboard can be used without an adapter. Players only have to plug in the peripherals and initialize them.

All game modes, including online and campaign, will support the use of the peripherals. This feature will help bridge the gap of people who prefer to use controllers or mouse and keyboard to play first-person shooters on any platform they prefer and allow fans to play with friends more easily.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will also feature crossplay where players can opt-in or out of playing with people with specific peripherals.

For more information about the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, stay tuned for OnlySP’s full interview with Millot.
