DoubleFine Adventure Broken Age

Double Fine’s Kickstarted adventure game made quite a few waves when it raised over $3.45 million. Finally, we have a name for Double Fine’s adventure – Broken Age.

The Broken Age website which went live today also features a lovely little overview of the game:

“Broken Age is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster–but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Adventures ensue.”

You can also preorder the game from the website, if you missed the Kickstarter boat. Along with the full final version of the game, $15 gets you beta access, $30 nets you full backer access – the ongoing production documentary, development materials, soundtrack, and beta access.
