Borderlands 3

Borderlands has always been known for its sizable campaigns and it looks like Borderlands 3 will be no different.

Thanks to an E3 interview with GamesBeat, Gearbox Software creative director Paul Sage talked about the upcoming loot-shooter’s length. While the campaign on its own is fairly long, Sage says players can sink in even more time thanks to the game’s plethora of side-quests.

“I’d still say we were very ambitious. My tech team would say we were really ambitious sometimes. [laughs] There’s so much to the game. We go to these different worlds. The length of the game being 35 hours, if you just go through the main story — that’s not including doing too many side missions. I think there was a lot of ambition right at the beginning.”

Gearbox has already made lots of crazy promises with this title and most look to be paying off.

Check out why OnlySP’s Daniel Pereira thinks the game’s extra time in the oven will lead to a better experience overall.

Michael fell into the OnlySP team toward the end of 2017. You’ll mostly catch his work over in the news area, but that doesn’t mean he won’t dip into the features section every now and then. For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
