The Mistwalker Studio is perhaps best known for Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, two JRPGs released for Xbox 360, as well as The Last Story developed exclusively for Nintendo Wii.

They are now teasing a new game, however, with Mistwalker founder Hironobu Sakaguchi revealing some concept artwork for the yet-unnamed title during a Hawaiian Creative Media Master Class at West O’ahu Library of all places.

Details about the game are scarce at the moment unfortunately. Sakaguchi did reveal that it will probably be a current-gen project, without specifying whether this will be exclusive to any platform. He also mentioned that the art design will ‘sketchy’, therefore with visible pencil outlines for example, along with maintaining a 3D aspect.

The concept artwork, illustrated by Kimihiko Fujisaka, can be seen below. We can’t expect the game to be fully revealed for a year yet, according to Sakaguchi himself.
