Casey Hudson, the executive producer of the Mass Effect series, posted a Tweet today that basically told gamers that Bioware is starting work on a brand new Mass Effect title. The Tweet embedded below asks fans what they would like to see in the game, and from that Hudson got a variety of responses, such as the game possibly being a prequel to the original series, allowing playable races other than human for the campaign, more customization, and so on. Basically, many of the suggestions called for the game to be more of an RPG than the action title it transformed into with the release of Mass Effect 2 and 3.

What would you like to see in the next Mass Effect game? Let Casey know on Twitter and it just may end up helping them in designing the game. Let’s just hope with the next installment, the ending won’t be so controversial…

  1. I think an interesting thing would be to go to either the First Contact, Rachni, or Prothean/Reaper Wars.

One thing they absolutely NEED to avoid doing is make a direct sequel. There are just too many variances between the three endings to account for every single variable. The solution would be to reconcile or ret con some of the endings, which would piss far too many people off.

    1. I couldn&#039t agree more. If this game were to happen, it would have to be a prequel or sidestory. Either that or it would… (SPOILERS AHEAD)

…have to be so far into the future that the galaxy has rebuilt itself.

  3. How about you don&#039t make a new game to distract people from the shit you made before.
    You done fucked up.
    Don&#039t ignore that.
Why don&#039t you let the games evolve into Leisure Suit Larry already.
Then I know what I&#039m getting into when I get it.

    1. I&#039m sorry to hear you didn&#039t like Mass Effect 3, but why should that disqualify Bioware from making more games in the series?
