Mass Effect

BioWare is reportedly working to relaunch the Mass Effect series.

According to a Kotaku report by Jason Schreier , BioWare’s Edmonton studio is actively working on a new Mass Effect game, which is currently in early development.

On N7 Day (November 7) BioWare’s Edmonton director, Michael Gamble hinted that the studio could return to the franchise in a Twitter post, saying, “Where do you want Mass Effect to go in the future?”

Additionally, earlier this year, Anthem‘s executive producer Mike Darrah and BioWare general manager Casey Hudson revealed that the studio is actively looking to revive the series.

After the criticism of Mass Effect: Andromeda, released back in 2017, publisher EA announced that it had decided to put the series on hold for the foreseeable future.
