Bethesda have recently been teasing an incoming game announcement, and today it was discovered that the title in question is a survival horror title codenamed Zwei, directed by Resident Evil series creator Shinji Mikami.

Firstly, Bethesda’s official Twitter account tweeted the following, confirming a reveal tomorrow:

Shortly after, Italian gaming publication La Redazione sent out a tweet that confirmed Mikami was behind the project. The text can be roughly translated into the following:

Tomorrow we reveal the new title exclusively by Shinji Mikami! The mystery will be unveiled tomorrow.

Lastly, details about the game were leaked from the latest issue of Famitsu. It was discovered that the game will be a survival horror title, and it started the rough conceptualization phase back in 2010. Mikami is confident in his ability to direct the title, stating that he knows the genre well, and will soon be looking to hire talented programmers for the project. No platforms were confirmed.

Survival horror fans (we know there are still some of you out there) can look forward to an exclusive reveal of the game at IGN tomorrow, if Bethesda’s tweet is any indication. We’ll have the details for you here shortly after.
