Bayonetta 3

Nintendo has announced the third entry in the Bayonetta series, Bayonetta 3, exclusively for Switch.

President and chief operating officer of Nintendo America, Reggie Fils-Aimé, joined Geoff Keighley on stage during The Game Awards to help announce one of the category winners. Before he left, Fils-Aimé pointed to the screen to reveal the follow-up to 2014’s Bayonetta 2 with a quick announcement trailer.

Other than a short clip, title, and the fact the game exists, not much else was announced regarding what players can expect from Bayonetta 3.

The third entry in the critically acclaimed action series came as quite the surprise during the show, as it immediately followed an announcement of remasters of the first two Bayonetta titles, again, exclusively for Switch. These remasters will fight and gun their way onto Switch in 2018.
