New Patch for Batman at release
New Patch for Batman at release

The newest edition to the Arkham series from developers Rocksteady, Batman: Arkham Knight, will need fans to download a day one patch for general improvements and fixes for the game.

Thanks to a user on Reddit (although the image has since been deleted), we know the patch weighs in at 3.5 GB, which is not the biggest day one patch we have ever seen but it’s up there. We learnt earlier this month the game is going to take up 45GBs of storage, so console players make sure you have enough room for the install data and the update.

Some patch notes were released with the main improvements being for general performance and stability issues all round:

  • Improved Performance
  • Stability Fixes
  • New feature: Rival Points
  • New feature: Original Batsuit skin available to select
  • Support for “A Matter Of Family” additional content
  • General gameplay, graphical, audio, UI, and localization fixes

The final edition to the Arkham series is on of our most anticipated single player games for this month, with some new villains for Batman to deal with and the Batmobile making its first appearance in the series.

Batman Arkham Knight hits stores on the 23rd of this month and is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
