According to Japan’s Nikkei, Index Corporation, the company that owns Atlus, is taking steps to transfer management to Sega Sammy.
Sega Sammy will purchase Index Corporation for 14 billion yen, or $141 million, and the company’s game business will be reorganized under the new management.
Although Index has had financial troubles which led to this new management, Atlus will be unaffected by the financial troubles and will carry on with its brand.
