During Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Origins was revealed with the game’s first visually enhanced trailers using Xbox One X’s improved graphics engine.

Along with the initial cinematic trailer, Ubisoft provided some in-game footage, further augmenting Xbox One X’s 4K resolution and increasing the hype for the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed universe. During the gameplay trailer, viewers were able to witness the player-character (PC) riding around on horseback, using the improved Eagle Vision from the previous games, using famed parkour techniques while shooting a bow, looting different weapons to upgrade the assassin’s arsenal, and delving into some of the game’s combat using a sword and shield combo. During the gameplay trailer, the game’s protagonist, Bayek, narrates a bit of his journey through enemy territory while looking for his target.
